International Conference on Conservation Agriculture
On September 22nd, SOLANO HORIZONTE deployed important human and material resources in the International Day of Conservation Agriculture organized by the AEACSV at the Finca el Pozo in Barruelo del Campo (Valladolid). According to the theme of the day, we presented both statically and dynamically 4 models of minimum tillage and direct seed drills as well as a 1,500 liter sprayer with 18 meter SH hydraulic booms. The sprayer was tested with a full tank for most of the morning, at a speed of 20-25 km/Ha, and stood out for the great stability of the boom.The 4 models of seed drills presented and tested in the afternoon were: Pneumatic minimum tillage seed drill SDR 500-4-31 A 2,000 liter mounted seed drill with 5 meter direct seeding arms model SDR 500-4-31 with roller and single row rake with angle springs. Apart from the good penetration of the tungsten-reinforced boots into the soil, this model stood out for its excellent stubble evacuation. Pneumatic direct seeder SNC 6000 A 6,000 liter trailed seed drill with minimum tillage arms model SNC 6000 SEM with 6 meter seeding train SDL 600-4-40 (40 arms with tungsten reinforced tips, in 4 rows). Pneumatic direct seeder SDN 6-35 A trailed seeder of 2,565 liters with simple direct seeding discs model SDN 6-35 of 6 meters, with cast iron compacting wheels. Pneumatic direct seeder SDN+ 450-27 A trailed seeder of 4,000 liters with double off-center direct seeding discs mounted on parallelogram model SDN+ 450-27 of 4.50 meters with double seed-fertilizer circuit, 20" front cutting discs, double rear rubber compacting wheels with working angle regulation.
BGVL ALU aluminum hydraulic rods (side folding)
The BGVL ALU booms are structured with a central body mounted on a pendulum system and 4 arms (2 on each side). They have 9 hydraulic functions that are controlled from the tractor (cab control, electro-valve body): independent arm opening/closing (4), parallelogram lifting (1), central body locking (1), slope corrector (1) and variable geometry left +/- and as always, we have taken care and optimized the damping of the movements that impact on the structure of the bar, combining 2 systems: a. - Pneumatic suspension (air + gas shock absorber) in the parallelogram lifting (1). DEMOAGRO 2017 (San Clemente, Cuenca. Spain)
We thank all the people who have passed by our stand at DEMOAGRO 2017, where we have made a representative display of our four major lines of machinery (soil, seeding, spraying, olive and almond harvesting), and presented our new products for 2017. In soil work, we presented our new model of stubble cultivator, the RASTRO CHS, for which we have modified the design of the mooring of our long-standing and more than proven spring safety, to obtain the vertical clearance required by farmers today. We have made a large deployment of pneumatic seed drills, a line that we have expanded in recent years to have a more than complete range: conventional, minimum tillage and direct seeding, both coulter and disc (single and double); suspended models, and large capacity trailed models with the possibility of a split hopper for seed and fertilizer. This year, we have further expanded our range with a front hopper model (with electric motor-driven metering unit and speed radar), presented at the fair: As for spraying, we have exhibited a 3,000-liter atomizer with turbine Ø 1.060 mm turbine and sonar to automatically open/close spraying as it detects the leaf mass of the tree; a 3,200 liter ZEUS trailed sprayer with 24 meter aluminum booms, which have stood out for their great stability and performance at speeds of 15-20 km/h, both in a straight line and in turns. In terms of new products, we presented our new range of ELEGANT mounted sprayers for vertical hydraulic booms. At the show, we exhibited an ELEGANT 1,500 liters with 18-meter aluminum hydraulic booms, and an ELEGANT 1,800 liters with 24-meter hydraulic booms. SOLANO HORIZONTE offers a wide range of eligible agricultural machinery With the aim of encouraging the use of more innovative agricultural machinery, which introduces the latest technological advances to achieve the lowest possible environmental impact and an increase in productivity on farms, recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, launched an aid program, PLAN RENOVE 2017, regulated in Royal Decree 704/2017, with an endowment of up to 5 million euros, for the renewal of TRACTORS and AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY. These new and innovative machines that the Ministry deems eligible for subsidies must meet a series of specific technical requirements in order to fall within the aid program. National Associations working for the development of the agricultural sector through mechanization Since last September, Solano Horizonte has become a new member of the non-profit association ANSEMAT. ANSEMAT is the National Association of Agricultural, Forestry and Green Spaces Machinery that represents and supports companies that manufacture machinery and installations for agriculture, livestock and green spaces, watching over and defending the interests of its associates before national and international organizations, both public and private. Among its purposes, besides assisting and advising its members before authorities, entities and organizations in all aspects related to the agricultural sector, it promotes, collaborates and participates in works dedicated to the study, research and testing of agricultural machinery. Likewise, they coordinate, carry out and disseminate collective, advertising or prestige events of the sector through the preparation of yearbooks, catalogs, publications, participation in congresses and conferences. This is not the first time that Solano Horizonte has been part of such an association. For more than 15 years it has belonged to the veteran Association AGRAGEX. AGRAGEX is the Spanish Association of Manufacturers-Exporters of Agricultural Machinery and its components. Its main objective is to serve the agricultural sector, through the help in its actions, promotion in foreign markets and the defense of the general interests of its associated companies. For this purpose, AGRAGEX organizes direct and inverse commercial missions, participates in International Fairs of the sector, channels consultations of foreign companies, carries out market studies and statistics. It also organizes Technical Seminars, advertising campaigns and multiple promotional activities. The importance of belonging to different Associations of the agricultural sector Solano Horizonte, as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, could not fail to be a member of ANSEMAT and AGRAGEX. Field demonstration of high performance harvesters in Monterrubio de la Serena, Badajoz. This Thursday, November 30, 2017, will take place the Technical Conference on Sustainable Olive Harvesting Mechanization in Extremadura organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Rural, Agrarian Policies and Territory of the Regional Government of Extremadura. SOLANO HORIZONTE will show in this day, the real work in the field of olive harvesting machines: the R-100 high performance harvester for low power tractors, and the R-90 professional harvester. Both models are perfect for efficient and sustainable harvesting, as they achieve: Maximum fruit quality without damaging the tree (quality of entry to oil mill: Flight) Minimized bud fall. Important savings in time and labor. Suitable for both traditional and intensive olive groves. It will also be equipped with a 2000 liter trailed atomizer. The new "ELEGANT" series of suspended PULVERIZERS, the new model of RT65 MIX REAR COLLECTOR, and the CHS CULTIVATOR, among the new developments From February 20 to 24 in Zaragoza, the 40th edition of the prestigious International Fair of Agricultural Machinery FIMA 2018 will take place. Solano Horizonte will not miss the event and will take the opportunity to present the new machines developed for an increasingly professionalized agricultural sector.
