Solano Horizonte in the multisectoral Direct Trade Mission to Peru and Colombia, which took place from October 20 to 29, 2015. During this visit, we were able to showcase and promote our products while establishing valuable contacts and synergies with other companies in the fields of infrastructure, agricultural technology, food processing, metalworking, and new technologies. The mission was organized by the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services, and Navigation of Murcia and co-financed by INFO (Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia) and the European Union through ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) funds.

Sommet de L'Elevage 2014, Clermont-Ferrand, France (01-02-03.10.2014)
As usual, we participated in the SOMMET DE L'ÉLEVAGE 2014, which welcomed some 85,500 visitors and 1,302 exhibitors. We exhibited products from our soil working, seeding and spraying ranges. Material of our brand was also exhibited at the SCAR stand, whom we thank for their commercial as well as logistical support. We thank all the people who visited our stand, and we hope to see you again next year.
Commissioning of the pneumatic seed drill SNP 500-4-40
ETABLISSEMENTS MONROUX (17780 Soubise, France – a dealer in the SCAR network) and Mr. Couq (a sales representative for SOLANO HORIZONTE France) commissioned a SNP 500-4-40 pneumatic seed drill on October 30, 2014, which was sold in the Charentes-Maritimes department. Commissioning of the Seeder The seeder, which has a working width of 5 meters, is equipped with 40 arms arranged in 4 rows and fitted with our mechanical spring safety system. The hopper capacity is 1,800 liters. The farmer who purchased the planter has 180 hectares. He will plant wheat at 155 kg/ha, working at a speed of between 10 and 12 km/h with a 115-horsepower tractor. The planter was put into operation on marshy soil under dry conditions (heavy, hard soil, which did not prevent it from penetrating the ground without any problem) where the farmer had previously planted corn. The field had been prepared with one pass of a subsoiler, two passes of chisel plows, and one pass of a rotary harrow. Plant residues and corn stalks remained. The seeder did not clog at any time. Pre-season training course for almond harvesters conducted by SOLANO HORIZONTE its distributors
Last July, Solano Horizonte once again Solano Horizonte its “5th Technical Workshop on Almond Harvesters” at its facilities, aimed at the technicians and mechanics who are part of Solano Horizonte Technical Support Services. This workshop, held prior to the almond harvest season—when harvesting machines operate at full capacity—is designed to ensure that technicians and mechanics are prepared to quickly resolve any issues that may arise and provide farmers and end customers with the best possible service. Every year, Solano Horizonte this type of workshop to discuss the most relevant topics regarding the machine, answer all questions raised by attendees, and present the improvements and new features that have been implemented. Regarding the T65 Rear Harvester, the improvements developed over the course of the year were also presented, some of which were suggested last year by attendees and were very well received by our distributors. The new RD-90 MiX combined almond and olive harvester, designed and manufactured using Murcian technology bySOLANO HORIZONTE .L., was unveiled last July at the National Agricultural Fair in Manzanares (FERCAM), in collaboration with Alba Maquinaria, our dealer in Valenzuela de Calatrava in the province of Ciudad Real. FERCAM is one of the most importantagricultural machinery fairsagricultural machinery in Spain. This year marked its 55th edition, and year after year it continues to exceed all expectations and gain new followers. We were awarded the Gold Medal for Technological Innovation in 2015. This is an innovative design due to its dual function as an almond and olive harvester. Solano Horizonte the 2016 FIMA Fair in Zaragoza
At the most recent edition of FIMA, held in Zaragoza from February 16 to 20, 2016, SOLANO HORIZONTE .L. showcased the most significant products from its extensive range of agricultural machinery soil preparation, seeding, harvesting, and spraying) at a 320-square-meter booth and introduced two new models in its line of seeders: The SNC 600 pneumatic seeder, with a 6,000-liter hopper (3,600 L for seeds, 2,400 L for fertilizer), equipped with an ISOBUS system for electronic regulation of seeding and fertilizer rates, and to which various types of seeding units can be adapted (tines, coulters, discs, and tines for minimum tillage). The model presented had a 6-meter seeding unit with tines for minimum tillage mounted in 4 rows. The SDN SA 450 pneumatic direct-seeding machine, with a 4,000-liter hopper (2,400 L for seed, 1,600 L for fertilizer), featuring two fully independent circuits (seeding and fertilizer) and arms specially designed for direct seeding. The model on display had a working width of 4.50 meters and a curb weight of 7,500 kg. We had many visitors, and we thank each and every person who visited our booth.
New SDN+ and SDNC direct seeders
At FIMA 2016, SOLANO HORIZONTE its new line of pneumatic direct-seeding machines, the SDN+ (seeds) and SDNC (seeds + fertilizer), designed with the needs of farmers practicing direct seeding in mind. We assembled all available models (3.00 – 4.00 – 4.50 – 5.00 – 5.50 – 6.00 meters) with a 4,000-liter hopper that can be divided into two compartments for seed and fertilizer (2,400 L for seed, 1,600 L for fertilizer). We offer an optional kit for microgranular fertilizer. We fit 560/45-R22” tires and a rear light kit. To operate the fan(s), the seeder features an independent hydraulic circuit (oil reservoir + hydraulic motors), which is powered by the tractor’s PTO via a cardan shaft. On SDNC models (seeding + fertilizer), we install two fully independent distribution circuits for seed and fertilizer: each working row has its own metering unit (made of stainless steel and polyethylene for fertilizer), its own blower, and its own distribution head. In its standard version, it has two monitors to oversee the operation of each row. We offer an optional metering unit with an electric motor and computer, which allows for very convenient calibration of the seeding rate, which is then automatically adjusted in proportion to changes in working speed. For SDNC models (seeding + fertilizer), this system allows both circuits (which remain completely separate) to be controlled from a single console. We have opted for a parallelogram-shaped arm with a travel range of approximately 20–25 cm, enabling it to adapt to and follow even the most challenging terrain. The arms are mounted in two rows. The spacing between the two rows is 1,740 mm. The spacing between arms varies from 165 mm to 175 mm (depending on the model). The standard seeding unit consists of: A double offset disc with an internal cleaning kit. Two drop points to prevent seed and fertilizer from mixing (on seed + fertilizer models). SH+ Hydraulic rods 24 meters
We are pleased to introduce our new model of hydraulic booms for suspended sprayers: the SH+ 24 meters boom with pendulum system. It is composed of 9 sections: central section + 4 arms on each side. The last section with ball joint safety system (3D movement) is made of aluminum. Our technical office has optimized the management of the hydraulic functions, with a design that facilitates the use from the cabin with a control that we have specially designed for the SH+ 24 meters bar: Independent opening of the left and right sides.
