New SDN+ and SDNC direct seeders

At FIMA 2016, SOLANO HORIZONTE its new line of pneumatic direct-seeding machines—the SDN+ (seeds) and SDNC (seeds + fertilizer)—designed with the needs of farmers practicing direct seeding in mind.

We assemble all available models (3.00 - 4.00 - 4.50 - 5.00 - 5.50 - 6.00 meters) with a hopper of 4,000 liters that can be divided into 2 compartments to work with seeding and fertilizer (2,400 L for seeding, 1,600 L for fertilizer). A kit for microgranulated fertilizer is available as an option.

We mounted 560/45-R22" tires and a rear light kit. For the operation of the turbine(s), the planter has an independent hydraulic circuit (oil tank + hydraulic motors), which works with the tractor power take-off via cardan transmission.

In the SDNC models (sowing+fertilizer), we mount two totally independent distribution circuits for seed and fertilizer: each working line has its metering unit (stainless steel and polyethylene for fertilizer), its turbine and its distribution head. In its standard version, it has 2 monitors to monitor the work of each line.

We offer as an option the metering unit with electric motor and computer, which allows to calibrate very easily the seeding rate, which is then automatically and proportionally regulated to the variations of the working speed. For the SDNC models (seeding + fertilizer), this system allows to control from a single console the 2 circuits (which remain totally separate).

We have opted for a parallelogram mounted arm that has a travel of about 20-25 cm, in order to be able to adapt and follow the most difficult terrains. The arms are mounted in 2 rows. The spacing between the 2 rows is 1740 mm. The spacing between the tines varies from 165 mm to 175 mm (depending on the model). The seeding element mounted as standard is composed of:

An off-center double disc with internal cleaning kit.
Two drop points so that seed and fertilizer do not mix (in sowing + fertilizer models).
Two compacting wheels with working angle adjustment
