International Conference on Conservation Agriculture
On September 22, SOLANO HORIZONTE significant human and material resources at the International Conservation Agriculture Conference organized by the AEACSV at Finca el Pozo in Barruelo del Campo (Valladolid). In line with the conference’s theme, we presented—both in static and dynamic demonstrations—four models of minimum-till and direct-seeding planters, as well as a 1,500-liter sprayer equipped with 18-meter SH hydraulic booms. The sprayer was tested with a full tank for most of the morning, at a speed of 20–25 km/h, and stood out for the boom’s excellent stability.The four seeder models presented and tested in the afternoon were: SDR 500-4-31 Pneumatic Minimum Tillage Seeder A 2,000-liter mounted seeder with 5-meter direct-seeding arms, model SDR 500-4-31, featuring a roller and a single-row harrow with angle springs. In addition to the good penetration of the tungsten-reinforced tines into the soil, this model stood out for its excellent stubble clearance. SNC 6000 Pneumatic Direct Seeder A 6,000-liter trailed seeder with minimum tillage arms, model SNC 6000 SEM, featuring a 6-meter SDL 600-4-40 seeding unit (40 arms with tungsten-reinforced tips, in 4 rows). SDN 6-35 Pneumatic Direct Seeder A 2,565-liter trailed seeder with single direct-seeding discs, model SDN 6-35, 6 meters wide, with cast iron packer wheels. SDN+ 450-27 pneumatic direct-seeding planter A 4,000-liter trailed planter with dual offset direct-seeding discs mounted on a parallelogram, model SDN+ 450-27, 4.50 meters wide, with dual seed-fertilizer circuits, 20” front cutting discs, dual rear rubber packer wheels with adjustable working angle.
BGVL ALU aluminum hydraulic rods (side folding)
The BGVL ALU booms are structured with a central body mounted on a pendulum system and 4 arms (2 on each side). They have 9 hydraulic functions that are controlled from the tractor (cab control, electro-valve body): independent arm opening/closing (4), parallelogram lifting (1), central body locking (1), slope corrector (1) and variable geometry left +/- and as always, we have taken care and optimized the damping of the movements that impact on the structure of the bar, combining 2 systems: a. - Pneumatic suspension (air + gas shock absorber) in the parallelogram lifting (1). DEMOAGRO 2017 (San Clemente, Cuenca. Spain)
We thank all the people who have passed by our stand at DEMOAGRO 2017, where we have made a representative display of our four major lines of machinery (soil, seeding, spraying, olive and almond harvesting), and presented our new products for 2017. In soil work, we presented our new model of stubble cultivator, the RASTRO CHS, for which we have modified the design of the mooring of our long-standing and more than proven spring safety, to obtain the vertical clearance required by farmers today. We have made a large deployment of pneumatic seed drills, a line that we have expanded in recent years to have a more than complete range: conventional, minimum tillage and direct seeding, both coulter and disc (single and double); suspended models, and large capacity trailed models with the possibility of a split hopper for seed and fertilizer. This year, we have further expanded our range with a front hopper model (with electric motor-driven metering unit and speed radar), presented at the fair: As for spraying, we have exhibited a 3,000-liter atomizer with turbine Ø 1.060 mm turbine and sonar to automatically open/close spraying as it detects the leaf mass of the tree; a 3,200 liter ZEUS trailed sprayer with 24 meter aluminum booms, which have stood out for their great stability and performance at speeds of 15-20 km/h, both in a straight line and in turns. In terms of new products, we presented our new range of ELEGANT mounted sprayers for vertical hydraulic booms. At the show, we exhibited an ELEGANT 1,500 liters with 18-meter aluminum hydraulic booms, and an ELEGANT 1,800 liters with 24-meter hydraulic booms. SOLANO HORIZONTE a wide range of agricultural machinery eligible for subsidies. With the aim of encouraging the use of agricultural machinery innovative agricultural machinery that incorporates the latest technological advances to minimize environmental impact and increase productivity on farms, the the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and the Environment launched a subsidy program, PLAN RENOVE 2017, regulated by Royal Decree 704/2017, with a budget of up to 5 million euros, for the replacement of TRACTORS and AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY. These new and innovative machines, which the Ministry deems eligible for subsidies, must meet a series of specific technical requirements to qualify for the aid program. National associations working to advance the agricultural sector through mechanization. Since last September,Solano Horizonte become a new member of the non-profit association ANSEMAT. ANSEMAT is the National Association of Agricultural, Forestry, and Green Space Machinery, which represents and supports manufacturers of machinery and equipment for agriculture, livestock, and green spaces, safeguarding and defending the interests of its members before national and international bodies, whether public or private. Among its objectives, in addition to assisting and advising members before authorities, entities, and organizations on all matters related to the agricultural sector, it promotes, collaborates on, and participates in work dedicated to the study, research, and testing of agricultural machinery. Likewise, it coordinates, carries out, and promotes collective, promotional, or prestige-building initiatives for the sector through the production of yearbooks, catalogs, and publications, as well as participation in congresses and conferences. This is not the first time Solano Horizonte part of an association of this nature. For over 15 years, it has been a member of the long-standing AGRAGEX Association. AGRAGEX is the Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Agricultral Machinery its Components. Its main objective is to serve the agricultural sector by supporting its initiatives, promoting the sector in foreign markets, and defending the general interests of its member companies. To this end, AGRAGEX organizes direct and reverse trade missions, participates in international trade fairs for the sector, channels inquiries from foreign companies, and conducts market studies and statistical analyses. It also organizes technical seminars, advertising campaigns, and various promotional activities. Field demonstration of high-performance harvesters in Monterrubio de la Serena, Badajoz. This Thursday, November 30, 2017, the Technical Conference on Sustainable Mechanization of Olive Groves in Extremadura will take place, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and the Environment, in collaboration with the Regional Ministry of the Environment and Rural Affairs, Agricultural Policies, and Territory of the Regional Government of Extremadura. SOLANO HORIZONTE the actual field operation of olive harvesting machines at this event: the high-performance R-100 harvester for low-horsepower tractors, and the professional R-90 harvester. Both models are perfect for efficient and sustainable harvesting, as they achieve: Maximum fruit quality without damaging the tree (mill-ready quality: Vuelo) Minimized shoot breakage.
